Are Traditional Beliefs Still Widespread in Modern Cities?

I have come to see society as divided between people who genuinely follow God and those who still place their faith in juju, witchcraft and idol worship. In my view, many people who identify as Christians may still hold traditional spiritual beliefs privately. They may attend church while continuing to fear or seek spiritual powers outside their faith. Living in modern cities has not necessarily removed these beliefs. Our buildings, language and technology may have changed, but old religious practices and fears can still be found around us. This is a reminder to those born in cities that beliefs associated with ancient societies may still be present today, even if they are less openly discussed.
