Table Tennis Rules: Service Rotation and Changing Ends

In table tennis, service alternates between players every two points, regardless of who wins each rally. At deuce, when both players reach 10 points, each player serves one point at a time. The player who serves first in one game receives first in the next game. Players change ends after every game. In the final possible game of a match, such as the seventh game in a best-of-seven contest, they switch ends once the first player reaches five points. If players serve out of turn or fail to change ends at the right time, points already played still count. Play resumes with the correct service and receiving order at the current score.
