Edo Police Arrest Man Accused of Impersonating Military Officer
The Edo State Police Command has arrested 32-year-old Mohammed Manfred Abdulramah for allegedly impersonating a military officer. He was arrested on September 16 along the Auchi-Okene Expressway by personnel of the 195 Battalion in Aganebode, stationed at Okpella. Abdulramah was reportedly travelling from Warri, Delta State, to Okene, Kogi State. Police said he was wearing military camouflage trousers and a vest when he was apprehended. Preliminary findings indicate that he is not a serving military officer and allegedly obtained the uniform from a Navy officer in Niger State. The police said investigations are ongoing and that he will be charged to court after they are concluded.
