Nollywood actresses Uche Elendu and Zainab Bakare joined others reacting to a viral video showing the family of Adewale, Sam Larry’s bouncer, grieving his death. Adewale died in a crash on the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway when the vehicle carrying him and music promoter Sam Larry collided with a trailer. Larry survived and is receiving treatment, but Adewale’s sudden passing has left his loved ones heartbroken. In the footage, his wife sits collapsed on the floor as relatives try to console her. Their young daughter, carried by a family friend, repeatedly calls “My daddy, my daddy” through her tears while other members weep in shock. Many online users condemned recording people in their vulnerable moments, calling it insensitive. Others offered prayers and support for the grieving family during this painful time.
