Seven hundred residents of Oyo State have completed a 10-day Federal Government vocational training programme under the National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy. The beneficiaries received training in digital economy skills, artificial intelligence and graphics, fashion design and makeup artistry. They were awarded certificates and start-up kits to help them begin self-employment or expand their livelihoods. At the Ibadan graduation ceremony, presidential aide Abiola Arogundade said the programme was intended to improve employability, promote self-reliance and help young Nigerians develop market-relevant skills.
