Arise News says political analyst Anthony Kila will no longer appear on its platforms following allegations that he falsified his academic credentials. The network said it contacted Kila on 3 October 2026 to seek his response after an investigation by a Nigerian news outlet raised questions about his qualifications. According to Arise News, he requested more time but had not responded 10 days later. Arise News said it was unaware of the allegations when Kila previously appeared as a freelance analyst. The station added that concerns about credibility and integrity made his continued appearances untenable.
