Carragher Urges Liverpool to Re-Sign Alexander-Arnold After Real Madrid Struggles

Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool should consider bringing Trent Alexander-Arnold back to Anfield, saying the England defender made a mistake by leaving for Real Madrid. The former Liverpool defender said the Reds have missed Alexander-Arnold’s creativity and should look beyond fans’ frustration over his departure. He admitted that a return would likely attract criticism at first. Carragher also claimed Alexander-Arnold has fallen behind Federico Valverde and Denzel Dumfries in Real Madrid’s right-back options. He argued that becoming a third-choice player would be a worrying sign for the defender’s future in Spain.
