Kun Khalifat coach Obinna Uzoho says he remains confident despite his side’s winless start to the Nigeria Premier Football League season. The Owerri club have taken two points from their opening three matches. They suffered a 4-2 defeat to Bendel Insurance in Benin City on Sunday, leaving them 14th on the table. Uzoho said the season is still young and promised to work on the team’s shortcomings. Kun Khalifat will seek their first victory when they host Rangers in an Oriental derby at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, on Sunday.
