Why Trump May End the Iran Conflict and the Pahlavi Question

Several online sources claim that former U.S. President Donald Trump is not aligned with Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran’s late Shah. Some analysts say Trump has engaged with other Iranian figures to discuss post-war leadership. However, he has neither endorsed nor rejected Pahlavi publicly. Pahlavi asserts that many Iranian protesters support him. During marches inside Iran, demonstrators have even chanted for the return of the monarchy. Trump has also criticized Iran’s leadership. He told Iranians they must “behave” to earn his help, prompting debate over his true intentions once military goals are met.
