Pauly Shore is an American comedian, actor and filmmaker born on 1 February 1968 in Los Angeles. He began performing stand-up comedy as a teenager before becoming an MTV VJ in 1989. He became widely known for 1990s comedy films including Encino Man, Son in Law, In the Army Now, Jury Duty and Bio-Dome. He also voiced Bobby Zimuruski in A Goofy Movie and its sequel. Shore later directed and starred in the 2003 mockumentary Pauly Shore Is Dead. He has continued to perform stand-up comedy and appear in film and television projects.
