IGP Disu Inspects 23 Police Barracks, Pledges Better Living Conditions for Officers
Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu has inspected 23 police barracks nationwide to assess the living conditions and welfare needs of officers and their families. During the visits, he met with personnel and residents to identify infrastructure gaps, urgent rehabilitation needs and other challenges affecting the barracks. The police said the findings will guide welfare interventions. Disu pledged that concerns raised would receive attention, stressing that decent accommodation is vital to officers’ morale and effectiveness.
