Screenshot of Obidient Comment Sparks Debate Over Middle Belt Youths’ Meeting with Tinubu
I don't think this kind of bitter, divisive politics is good for society. Middle Belt youths may be meeting President Tinubu to discuss regional interests, but no group can speak for everyone in North Central. People in the region have different views and priorities. The attached screenshot shows one commenter predicting that the region will continue to face insecurity and economic hardship if its people support Tinubu. That is one person's opinion, not necessarily the view of all Obidients. It is troubling when political rivalry seems to overshadow hopes for an end to insecurity. Politics should not become this bitter.
