Declan Rice Withdraws From England Squad With Injury
Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has withdrawn from England’s squad for the upcoming Nations League matches because of an injury concern. Rice is one of five players ruled out, alongside Tino Livramento, Cole Palmer, Kobbie Mainoo and Marcus Rashford. James Garner and Morgan Gibbs-White have been called up as replacements. The midfielder played in Arsenal’s recent match against Brighton but has reportedly been managing a hamstring problem. Arsenal will hope he recovers in time for their next Premier League fixture against Leeds United. Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Ezri Konsa and Myles Lewis-Skelly remain in the England squad.
