Abia Police Arrest Suspect in Knife-Point Rape of 13-Year-Old Girl

The Abia State Police Command has arrested 27-year-old Ebere Christian Sunday for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl at knifepoint in Obehie, Ukwa West Local Government Area. Commissioner of Police Danladi Isa explained that the suspect and two accomplices threatened the victim with a knife to keep her from crying or reporting them. The suspect has confessed and police recovered a knife along with torn, blood-stained clothing. The other two men remain at large. The accused has been charged to court as officers intensify efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
