Frank Warren Dismisses Fury Injury Rumours Ahead of Joshua Fight
Boxing promoter Frank Warren has dismissed rumours that Tyson Fury is injured ahead of his heavyweight showdown with Anthony Joshua, calling the claims “absolute nonsense.” The speculation followed comments by former heavyweight champion Frank Bruno, who said he had heard whispers of an injury in Fury’s camp. Speaking at a press conference for the Joshua Buatsi–Willy Hutchinson rematch, Warren said Fury was doing well and focused on training for the December 11 bout at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. He said Fury had recently told him he wished the fight were happening the next day. Warren also said Deontay Wilder’s appearance on the undercard would not distract Fury.
