Osun Poll: Atiku Warns INEC and Security Agencies Against Partisanship
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has warned INEC, the police, military and other state institutions against using public resources to favour the APC in the Osun governorship election. Speaking at the ADC National Youth Leadership Summit, Atiku said elections are civilian exercises and should not be treated like military operations. He called for timely distribution of materials, uninterrupted voting, transparent collation and credible transmission of results. He also renewed questions over President Bola Tinubu's Chicago State University certificate, calling for full verification of alleged discrepancies. Atiku added that his political platform would reserve at least 30 percent of legislative tickets for candidates under 40, urging young Nigerians to move from online activism to organised political participation.
