Popular Port Harcourt Event Planner Mina Orupabo Killed in Gun Attack

On Thursday evening, March 19, 2026, around 8pm in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, unknown gunmen ambushed event planner Mina Orupabo. She was heading to an event hall for a pre-event check near Total Gospel Road off Peter Odili Road. Mina was the CEO of Special Bensington Ushers. Her driver and another passenger managed to escape before the shooting. She was rushed to a hospital but sadly passed away on Saturday. The motive for the attack remains unclear.
