Sebastian Bach Apologizes Over 1989 Love Triangle with Christina Applegate and Brad Pitt
Rock singer Sebastian Bach has issued a public apology for his part in a decades-old incident involving actress Christina Applegate and actor Brad Pitt. He spoke out after Applegate revisited the moment in her new memoir, You With the Sad Eyes. The episode dates back to the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards. Applegate arrived at the show with Pitt but left with Bach. The Skid Row frontman says he was caught off guard when the story resurfaced and regrets any hurt he caused. Bach explained that he was a young musician living the chaotic rock ’n’ roll life. “I was a single guy on tour,” he said. “If I hurt anybody, I apologize.” He stressed that the events happened a long time ago and that he has moved on. In her memoir, Applegate admits she was infatuated with Bach’s performance. She recalled leaving the awards with him and leaving Pitt to drive her mother home. The actress says she later learned Bach was already in a relationship and that she regrets the impulsive decision.
