Ramadan Outreach: Akogun Abioye Distributes Food Packs to 1,200 in Osogbo Federal Constituency
Engr. Akogun Raji Abioye, a House of Representatives aspirant for Osogbo/Olorunda/Orolu/Irepodun, shared food bank packages with 1,200 residents as a Ramadan support initiative. The event held at Erin-Osun Hall brought together party leaders, community members, and residents. The Mufasir of Erin-Osun, Alhaji Hussein Aberuagba, preached on compassionate and accountable leadership. Abioye thanked APC leaders, ward chairmen, local government leaders, and party faithful for attending. He said the gesture was his personal commitment to give back and to ease the burden on families fasting. He asked for prayers for peace and political success ahead of the governorship election. He urged residents to support the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, and his running mate, Aree Benjamin Adereti, in the August 15, 2026 election. He called for unity and commitment to the party, saying good governance and development in Osun should be sustained. Representing the state chairman, APC Youth Leader Alhaji Ibrahim Akinwemimo urged members to obtain their PVCs and back the party’s vision. He praised Abioye’s grassroots work. Dignitaries, ward chairmen, local government chairmen, and many supporters attended. Beneficiaries applauded the donor for giving back to society.
