Trusting God’s Timing: The Glory in His Pace
Scriptural Guide — Daily Meditation May 31, 2026 Theme: God’s Pace “Lord,” Martha said, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” — John 11:21 Martin prided himself on punctuality. One morning his friends agreed to arrive by 6 a.m. to beat his record. When they got there, he was already seated. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t outpace him. We admire diligence and speed. But God’s timing often differs from ours. When Lazarus fell ill, Jesus delayed four days. Martha’s impatience gave way to amazement when Lazarus walked from the tomb. Key Point: God is never too slow. His pace leads to a more glorious outcome. Prayer: Lord, thank You for answering in Your perfect timing. Teach me to trust Your pace and believe in the glory of Your plans.
