Ogun Police Launch Manhunt After Alleged Sexual Assault of 17-Year-Old Boy

The Ogun State Police Command has launched a manhunt for a man identified as Kola over the alleged sexual assault of a 17-year-old boy. The teenager and his parents reported the case at the Adigbe Police Division in Abeokuta on 8 September 2026. He alleged that the suspect assaulted him on three occasions in January and threatened him to keep quiet. Police said the boy was taken to a hospital for medical examination and that detectives have begun an investigation. The Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, has directed officers to intensify efforts to locate and arrest the suspect, who is reportedly on the run.
