Kano Begins Diphtheria Vaccination in 13 Wards Across Five LGAs

The Kano State Government has started a diphtheria vaccination campaign in 13 wards across Dala, Fagge, Gwale, Kumbotso and Ungoggo local government areas. Health authorities urged residents, especially people unsure of their immunisation status or those who received their last dose more than 10 years ago, to make themselves and their families available for vaccination. The campaign follows concerns over diphtheria cases in parts of Kano. Residents have been advised to seek information and vaccination support from authorised health officials.
