Kaduna Beach Volleyball Camp Unearths Five Female Players Above Six Feet
The eight-day Musa Rifkatu Foundation Beach Volleyball Camp has ended in Kaduna, with organisers identifying five female players above six feet tall among 15 participants drawn from across Nigeria. Held at Murtala Square from August 16 to 23, 2026, the camp introduced the players to beach volleyball techniques and the basics of competing on sand courts. Participants received sports bags, sanitary towels, beach volleyballs, nets, antennas and certificates. Officials encouraged the girls to stay focused on their education and training. The organisers believe the new talents could strengthen Nigeria's future in beach volleyball.
