NCDC Says ₦10bn Fund Targets Multiple Disease Threats, Not Ebola Alone
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention says the ₦10bn emergency fund approved by President Bola Tinubu is meant to strengthen Nigeria’s response to several health threats, not just Ebola. NCDC Director-General Dr Jide Idris said the money will support disease prevention, surveillance, early detection and emergency response.
