Erling Haaland Sues Norwegian Airline Over Ponytail-Themed Advert
Manchester City and Norway striker Erling Haaland has filed a lawsuit against Norwegian Air Shuttle over a social-media advert that featured a plane with a hairstyle resembling his former ponytail. The airline’s post showed a plane with shaved sides and a ponytail placed on top, alongside a caption celebrating its Norwegian identity. The post was later deleted. A hearing is scheduled for October 9 in Oslo. The airline said it did not understand the lawsuit and described the post as a spontaneous response to social-media trends during Norway’s World Cup campaign.
