Rabiu Bolsters BUA Fleet with $81M Bombardier Global 8000 Jet

Rabiu Bolsters BUA Fleet with $81M Bombardier Global 8000 Jet

Abdul Samad Rabiu, chairman of BUA Group, has taken delivery of a Bombardier Global 8000 private jet valued at about $81 million, roughly ₦110 billion at today’s exchange rate. The purchase agreement was signed on December 4, 2025, at BUA’s Dubai office and was announced via his social media stories. This new long-range jet joins BUA’s existing fleet, which includes a Bombardier Challenger 350 and a Global 6500. Rabiu described the acquisition as a strategic asset to support the group’s expansion across various sectors and international markets. Built by Canadian aerospace leader Bombardier, the Global 8000 combines intercontinental range, speed, and executive comfort. BUA Group remains one of Nigeria’s largest conglomerates, with interests spanning cement, foods, sugar, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
