The Super Eagles begin their 2027 AFCON qualifying campaign with back-to-back Group L matches against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau. Nigeria host Madagascar in Uyo on 25 September before travelling to face Guinea-Bissau on 29 September. Nigeria have never lost to Madagascar in four previous AFCON qualifying meetings.
