2027: Primate Ayodele Says Obi and Kwankwaso’s NDC May Struggle Without Coalition

Primate Elijah Ayodele has said Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso may struggle to make an impact in the 2027 presidential election if their Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) runs independently. Speaking in a video shared online, the cleric argued that the party would have been stronger in a coalition with the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He said the NDC is not currently a major factor in his calculation for the election. Obi and Kwankwaso reportedly left the ADC for the NDC in May, citing internal divisions and ongoing court cases.
