Iran Accuses U.S. of Hitting IRGC Naval Headquarters in Gilan

Iranian officials say a U.S. airstrike hit an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) naval headquarters in Zibakenar, in northern Gilan Province. A deputy governor in the province said the strike damaged military equipment at the base. No casualties were reported immediately. The accusation comes amid ongoing U.S. attacks on Iranian military infrastructure. Britain has also said it is ready to defend itself after Tehran threatened a Royal Air Force base used by U.S. forces.
