I was craving peppery concoction rice, so I went into the kitchen and prepared a satisfying meal despite the power outage. I served the rice with fried plantain, boiled egg and catfish. I also made egusi soup with smoked fish, beef, locust beans, pumpkin leaves and scent leaves. The ingredients cost about ₦3,300 in total, including rice, egusi, beef, catfish, plantain, palm oil, pepper and seasoning. It turned out really delicious.
