Guinea-Bissau Beat Tanzania 2-0 Ahead of Super Eagles Clash in AFCON 2027 Qualifiers

Guinea-Bissau opened their AFCON 2027 qualifying campaign with a 2-0 away win over co-hosts Tanzania in Group L. Franculino scored in the 33rd minute before Mama Baldé doubled the lead in the 58th minute. Tanzania have already qualified automatically as co-hosts alongside Kenya and Uganda, but remain in the qualifying group. Guinea-Bissau will host Nigeria’s Super Eagles on September 29 in Bissau. Nigeria will also begin their Group L campaign against Madagascar.
