Nollywood actor Mike Ezurounye shared a video of himself travelling by boat to a movie location with Harry B and Francis Odega. Mike appeared uneasy about the journey and admitted that he was afraid of the water. His senior colleagues, however, remained calm throughout the trip. The video has renewed discussion about safety on Nollywood sets, especially for productions filmed around rivers and waterways. Following the 2024 death of Junior Pope after a boat accident in Anambra State, the Actors Guild of Nigeria introduced restrictions on filming in riverine areas and using boats for movie productions.
