EFCC Offers Whistleblowers Up to 5% of Recovered Stolen Assets
EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede says people who provide credible, actionable information that leads to the recovery of stolen Nigerian assets may receive between 2.5% and 5% of the amount recovered. He said whistleblowers will be protected and urged Nigerians with information on hidden assets or persons linked to financial crimes to report it to the commission. The incentive is intended to encourage public cooperation in tracing and recovering assets taken or concealed within Nigeria and abroad.
