SuperSport to Broadcast AFCON 2027 Qualifiers and Finals Across Sub-Saharan Africa

CANAL+ has secured broadcast rights for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and finals. The matches will air on SuperSport across Sub-Saharan Africa. The qualifying series features 48 countries in 12 groups, competing over six matchdays for places at the 24-team finals. Nigeria began its Group L campaign with a 2-1 win over Madagascar in Uyo, with George Ilenikhena and Moses Usor scoring on their debuts. The Super Eagles will face Guinea-Bissau in Bissau in their next qualifier. AFCON 2027 will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from 19 June to 17 July 2027, marking the tournament's return to East Africa for the first time since 1976. The agreement covers the full qualifying journey and tournament finals, with French-language coverage also planned for more than 20 francophone African countries.
