Tansian University Ownership Dispute: Former Official Cites NUC Report, Seeks Documents
A former Tansian University official has challenged claims over the ownership and governance of the institution in Umunya, Anambra State. He argues that the Missionary Servants of the Church remain the proprietor named in the university’s approved Academic Brief and the Tansian University Law 2007. He also cites an NUC forensic report dated September 3, 2026, which he says does not recognise certain governing bodies and directs JAMB to suspend student allocations to the university pending further action. The claims have not been independently verified in this post. The statement calls on those disputing the NUC position to publish any valid ownership-transfer documents, regulatory approvals, court orders or instruments supporting the current governing structure and the 2022 university law.
