Lanre Afod Recounts Surviving Heart Failure, Warns Against Excessive Energy Drinks

Lanre Afod, younger brother of Nollywood actor Kunle Afod, has shared his experience of surviving heart failure. He said he faced two life-threatening moments and recalled becoming frightened after a doctor told him his condition was critical. Lanre said he believes excessive consumption of energy drinks contributed to his illness. He recalled being cautioned about their possible effects on the heart. He also praised Desola Afod for supporting his recovery after he left the hospital. According to him, she offered to keep buying his medication for as long as he needed it.
