Bauchi Police Partner ATBUTH Experts for Free Cardiovascular Health Checks
Nigeria Police Force Zone 12 in Bauchi marked the 2026 World Physiotherapy Day with a health outreach for officers, in partnership with physiotherapy experts from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital. The programme focused on the role of physiotherapy and physical activity in preventing, managing and rehabilitating cardiovascular disease and stroke. Officers received free blood pressure checks, health talks and practical exercise sessions on stroke prevention and recovery. Zone 12 and ATBUTH said they would sustain the partnership through quarterly health outreaches for police personnel.
