Finding Purpose in the Struggle for Sexual Purity

Choosing sexual purity can be difficult, especially when temptation feels stronger than the desire to obey God. Yet the struggle is not without purpose. Romans 5:3–4 teaches that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance builds character, and character strengthens hope. Each time I resist temptation, I build the discipline and dependence on God needed for the next challenge. This journey can develop self-knowledge, empathy and a deeper trust in God. The difficulty is not wasted; it can shape a hopeful and faithful life. I acknowledge that sex is sacred and designed by God for divine purposes. By His grace, I will honour its sanctity. Amen.
