Trusting God With Child-Like Faith

After giving my life to Christ, I learned a powerful lesson about faith from a Sunday School teacher. A child can jump when a trusted parent calls because the child believes they will be caught. That is the kind of trust Jesus described when He spoke about becoming like little children. Years later, while working as a teacher in Okeigbo, Ondo State, I visited the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with students on an excursion. I was inspired by what I saw and picked up a pebble, declaring that I would return the following year as a student. By God’s grace, I did. Faith is more than words. It requires us to act in line with what we believe, as long as our request is in God’s will. Take a step of faith today and trust God to guide and sustain you.
