Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade will undergo an MRI scan after sustaining an injury during Nigeria’s 5-0 win over Comoros in the Olympic qualifiers at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne. Ajibade was stretchered off in the 23rd minute after a collision with a Comoros defender, with Folashade Ijamilusi replacing her. Interim coach Augustine Eguavoen said the medical team would assess the injury and provide an update after the scan. Nigeria completed a 7-0 aggregate victory to reach the third round, where the team will face Morocco. Toni Payne and Uchenna Kanu scored twice each, while Christy Ucheibe added a penalty.
