Three Killed in Suspected Cult Clash in Ilesa, Osun

Three people were killed after a clash between suspected members of the Aiye and Eiye confraternities in the Imo area of Ilesa, Osun State, on Monday evening. The victims were identified as Idowu, Yinka and Eja. Police said four spent cartridges and two Android phones were recovered at the scene. The Osun State Police Command has deployed operatives of the Violence Crime Response Unit and other tactical teams to prevent reprisals and identify those responsible. Residents have been urged to remain calm, avoid unverified information and report suspicious activity.
