Tiler Arrested After Hotel Staff Member Dies in Abuja

Police in Abuja have arrested a tiler, Samuel Net, following the death of Joseph Terdoo, a hotel staff member in Utako. The FCT Police Command said officers responded to a distress call over suspicious activity at a hotel on October 20. They traced the disturbance to Room 301, where both men were found with signs of violence. Terdoo was taken to Wuse District Hospital, where he was confirmed dead. Police said an initial investigation indicates that a disagreement between the two men escalated into a fight, during which Terdoo allegedly fell and struck his head on a wooden object. The suspect is in custody and is expected to face prosecution after the investigation is completed.
