Since when I can remember, I have chills when I hear or even think about the sounds made in certain instances eg
When you drag a pot, pan or metal container on the floor or tiles. 
When you drag a tile on another 
When silk, polyester fabric or wool rub against each other or when you chew woolly fabric (can't even think about it now 😔)
I wanted to tie a rope on a pole and the rope was made of fibre that feels like hair attachment or something similar, I couldn't stand the feeling when I grabbed the rope. It makes me cringe and people around me though I'm weird or something.
The thought of it alone sends chills down my spine.
I'm beginning to think it's not normal. Does anyone else feel the same? Do I need to get a therapy or something?

Despite presenting himself as a Southern president, most of Tinubu's appointments are heavily concentrated in the South West, particularly in Lagos and Ogun states, a clear display of tribalistic leadership. Now, he wants to "reform" taxes in a way that seems to disproportionately favor Lagos. Meanwhile, the entire country continues to thrive off the South-South's oil resources.

Everything Tinubu has touched has proven catastrophic for Nigerians, often rushed and poorly thought out. If he is already centralizing power and resources to benefit his region, what assurance is there that the proposed tax reforms and restructuring won't follow the same pattern, especially given how hastily he wants to implement them?

Only a truly nationalist leader, like Obasanjo, should be entrusted with restructuring Nigeria. Leaders driven by regional bias, like Tinubu and Buhari, are unfit for such a critical task. Nigerians must resist allowing such individuals to determine the fate of this great nation, lest they usher in even greater calamity.

> Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been reappointed as Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) for a second term, News360 Nigeria reports.

The reappointment, confirmed on Friday, solidifies her position as the first woman and first African to lead the global trade body.

The decision, made by consensus among the WTO’s 166 members during a closed-door General Council meeting, was expedited to avoid potential political interference. Her current term is set to expire in August 2025, and the next term will lead up to the 2026 ministerial conference in Cameroon.

The push for a swift reappointment is seen as a precaution against possible challenges from a returning Donald Trump administration, which previously delayed her initial appointment in 2020.

– Fear of a void –

The overwhelming support for Okonjo-Iweala’s second term came “not so much (because) everyone loves Ngozi”, a source close to the discussions told AFP.

Rather, members were “worried that if she doesn’t get reinstated, then it’s possible that the administration in Washington would slow things (or) block other contenders”, leaving a void at the top, the source said.

“The alternative of no-one leading the organisation is unacceptable to them.”

Rockwell, a former WTO spokesman, told AFP that speeding up Okonjo-Iweala’s reappointment “creates tensions in the relationship with the United States, for sure — tensions which would probably have been there under any circumstances, but now this raises the stakes”.

During Trump’s first term, the WTO faced relentless attacks from his administration, which crippled the organisation’s dispute settlement appeal system, and also threatened to pull the United States out of the organisation altogether.

And Trump has already signalled he is preparing to launch all-out trade wars, threatening to unleash a flurry of tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico on his first day in office on January 20.

“The festival of tariffs announced to date shows that he has no intention of following any rules,” said Elvire Fabry, a researcher at the Institut Jacques Delors think-tank.

“The United States would not even need to withdraw from the WTO,” she told AFP. “They are freeing themselves from the WTO rules”.

In this context, the WTO chief will have “a firefighter role”, she said.

– ‘Very difficult’ –

It will be a question of “saving what can be saved, and making the case that there is no real alternative to the WTO rules”, said another source close to the discussions on speeding up Okonjo-Iweala’s reappointment.

“It will be a very difficult mandate, with little certainty about what will happen.”

Rockwell noted that the WTO’s problems were not solely linked to Washington.

“It is a time right now in which application of the WTO rules has deteriorated,” he said.

“You can’t blame all of this on the United States. That’s true of many other members as well.”

Dmitry Grozoubinski, author of the book “Why Politicians Lie about Trade”, agreed.

“Governments are increasingly turning to trade measures to address issues like national security, environmental competition, and re-industrialisation, and policymakers aren’t as moved as they once were by arguments that their ideas violate the letter or spirit of WTO commitments,” he told AFP.

“If president-elect Trump makes destroying the WTO a priority,” he said, the organisation’s “options will be limited as the institution is not built to withstand overt demolition from within its membership”.

Since taking the WTO reins, Okonjo-Iweala has tried to breathe new life into the fragile organisation, pushing for fresh focus on areas like climate change and health.

But pressure is growing for WTO reform, in particular of the moribund appeals portion of its dispute settlement system, which collapsed during the first Trump presidency as Washington blocked the appointment of judges.

So, does it mean even the fake/false visions will also come true? What if fake or false prophets prophesy or declare fake visions from their own mind, would the fake prophecies, fake visions, fake messages or gospel of flatteries suddenly come to pass just because “The appointed time is at hand, and every vision must come true” and some prophets took authority to declare/prophesy things, when the LORD has not commanded them to say nor approve thereof?

No, when the LORD said every vision, message or prophecy in Israel will no longer delay before it comes true, He also said the reason will be because there will be no more false visions, no fake prophecies or no false prophets or pastors will be in Israel by then, when every vision shall happen at hand there.

But when the devil saw there is no divination against Israel, the devil planted fake divinations including fake visions, false prophecies, flatteries or counterfeit gospels in Israel. So, divination against Israel could not stand; but lying and seducing divinations within Israel could yet stand — Until the LORD declared this in the main Bible verse in Red.

By now you should have known that some false or fake prophets see visions, make declarations or prophecies, using divinations or unclean spirits. The day the LORD will totally remove all false prophets, false pastors, false visions or fake gospels/flatteries out of Israel, will also be the day He will remove unclean spirits or lying demons in the mouths of those prophets or pastors, which also enabled them to use divinations, enchantment, spell, speaking in tongues of incantations, and lying wonders. Remember how a lying spirit was on the mouth of about four hundred prophets in Israel, and they where prophesying or preaching prosperity in a motivational message to charge the king to “Go” or “make the move” to Ramoth-Gilead and prosper. [1 Kings 22:6-26]. The points are:

•1• — Eliminating false visions & divinations out of Israel means eliminating false prophets, titles of idols, wizards, false pastors etc, out of Israel as well.

•2• — Eliminating false prophets and titles of idols or idolatrious names/titles out of Israel means eliminating the evil/unclean spirits connected with them.

Therefore, where there is no vision, it is the people who perish (Proverbs 29:18): but where there is no false vision, it is the false prophets who perish.

Let's give a biblical explanation. First, we won't use the weak explanation that Jesus was simply talking about His flesh nature or human nature. That is a weak explanation to use. We are going to use the word of God in the Bible to explain it.

John 14:28 (New King James Version) says, "You have heard Me say to you, 'I am going away and coming back to you.' If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, 'I am going to the Father,' for My Father is greater than I."

What did Jesus mean by that? Simple. He tells you in the previous chapter. The servant is not greater than his lord. He that is sent is not greater than him that sent him. You see this scenario? This is exactly how we are going to figure out exactly what Jesus meant.

Now, let me ask you. Is Jesus the servant or is Jesus the lord? Remember, the servant is not greater than his lord. Or is He greater than Him that sent Him? So I will ask you again, is Jesus the servant or is Jesus the lord?

Now, what did Jesus say before? John 13:13 (New King James Version) says, "You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am."

You call Me master and lord, and you say well, because that is what I am. But wait a minute. Jesus also said, "The servant is not greater than his lord." So is Jesus the servant or is Jesus the lord? Answer: Yes. He's both.

But how do we know this? It's below in Philippians 2:6-8 (King James Bible), which says, "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."

But made himself of no reputation and took upon the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of man. The servant is not greater than his lord. Neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

Now that we've established that, guess what? If Jesus is both the servant and the lord, guess what? Then He is also the one that was sent and the one that sent Himself. Glory! Yes. God can send Himself. I don't see why people find that so weird.

Because this is not the first time God has done it. Psalm 104:30 (New King James Version) says, "You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth."

In Psalm 104:30, God sent His Holy Spirit, which is His Spirit, and accomplished what He wanted. And the Holy Spirit is God Himself; He is the Spirit of God Himself.

Psalm 107:20 (New International Version) says, "He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave." King James Bible says, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

So, John 1:1 tells us who the Word is that delivered us from the grave. The Word is Jesus Himself.

But why did Jesus describe Himself as a servant? Why did Jesus describe Himself as someone that was sent? John 13:13-16 (New King James Version) says, "You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you."

It's simple. He tells you in between the two verses that I originally gave you. For I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you. And what example was this? But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

And who are we supposed to serve exactly? And whosoever of you will be the chiefest shall be servant of all. That's right. If you want to be the greatest among all the disciples, you have to be the servant of all. Not just the servant, but one that serves.

That is the example that He gave us. For even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto but to minister and to give His life a ransom for many.

The Father is greater than I. He's not talking about a different person. Or is He talking about a lower state?

Answer 
That statement is there to show us the example that He left us.

And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be brought down, and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted

The 2023 presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and his counterpart from the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi have dismissed planning for the 2027 presidential election.

> Atiku and Obi made the remark against the backdrop of their breakfast meeting in Yola, the Adamawa State Capital.

A video had emerged of both men seated together at a dining table, ready to have their meal.

However, Atiku’s spokesman, Paul Ibe said the meeting was a reunion of two old friends.

Speaking with journalists about Saturday’s meeting, Ibe said: “Let us not jump the gun. The fact is that Obi accepted to be the keynote speaker at the 20th anniversary of AUN and the 16th Founder’s Day, which was a milestone. Obi is part of that celebration.

“The university was founded by Atiku Abubakar, who was more like his host. But people think it is because of politics. We all know our friends. The truth is that politics cannot separate friends.

"So Atiku invited him to breakfast and from there, they went for the programme. I think that is what happened.”

On his part, Obi’s media aide, Ibrahim Umar, said the meeting had no political undertone.

“There was nothing like that. They just invited him (Obi) to deliver a speech there. It has nothing to do with politics. Of course, you know people will always assume things” he said.

He pleaded with Mr President to please give a listening ear to the cries of Ndigbo and release Kanu so that Ndigbo will consolidate and rebuild our economy.

She looked disappointed as she put her hand down. I went for my next class. It was actually a busy day for me. I had no free period until the break time. Even after that, I had no any free period until closing time.

The pay was low, but the school still paid much more than many other private schools. The driving force was the passion I had for the job. I loved to impart knowledge, and that mattered a lot. 

The school closed for the day at quarter to four o'clock. I decided to stay behind and write some notes. Some teachers stayed behind too, but by five p.m, all the teachers had left, leaving only Ada and me. 

"Thank God we are now alone," Ada started. "There is a matter I will like to discuss with you." 

The keenness of her voice showed that indeed, she had been angling to have a private conversation with me. 

"I'm all ears," I said. She smiled. "It is actually a request and I hope you can grant it." 

Ada was one of the closest teachers to me since I joined Highworth College about eight months ago. As close as we were, everything between us was official.

I suspected she should be about my age, but one could not be too certain about such a thing. I was twenty-eight years of age. I could be described as young, full of life and vibrant. Now, I wondered the kind of request Ada had in mind.

"Go on," I prompted her.

A New Month Message From The Office Of The Vice Chairman, Emohua Lga

Hello naijaworlders, I'm not here to brag, I just need advice before I get lost.

I have two relatives living abroad (UK), both are from my mothers side, same father and same mother...
Just few days ago, I was called and told that they are making plans to send me to the UK early next year to go and stay with my uncle and find something doing there... they already communicated with my uncle abroad, and they just wanted to surprise me. 

I graduated from school last two years as a petroleum engineering. Though, I'm not doing any work for now.

But the truth is that my mind doesn't want to go, I'm not ready and I have told them. They have already started telling me this is a one time opportunity, and that if I miss it, I won't see it again, but I have made up my mind that I don't want to go.

I just can't leave my friends here, I just don't know but I can't.. 

I need advice,

Why should I go, when my self and my mind is not ready...
