Binance Restricts Transactions With A7 Nigeria, PilotFinance and 15 Other Crypto Platforms
Binance has announced restrictions on transactions involving 17 crypto-asset service providers across Nigeria, the UAE, Iran, Georgia, Belarus, the UK and other markets, citing regulatory compliance requirements. In Nigeria, the restrictions affect A7 Nigeria, A7 Africa and PilotFinance Ltd from August 13. Transactions involving Shelbit and Aban Tether Exchange were restricted from August 7, while further platforms, including HTX, EXMO, BitPapa, Rapira and Exnode, were added from August 23. Binance warned users not to send funds to, receive funds from, or otherwise use its platform to transact with the listed entities after the relevant dates. Attempts may be held for compliance reviews, and affected wallets could face temporary restrictions. The exchange also advised users to avoid sharing wallet addresses in ways that could link them to the affected platforms, warning of possible unauthorised activity and dusting attacks.
