NDLEA Arrests 101-Year-Old Ogun Woman Over Alleged Cannabis Sales

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested 101-year-old Esther Ogunmabo in Ilisan, Ogun State, over alleged cannabis dealing. NDLEA said she was arrested on August 15 with 90 grammes of skunk cannabis. She reportedly told investigators that she began selling it after a fire destroyed her provisions shop and alleged that her Lagos-based daughter supplied the drugs. NDLEA Chairman Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (retd.) reportedly ordered that she be granted bail and counselled because of her age. Her daughter was later arrested in connection with the alleged supply.
