Nigerian Winger Tunde Akinsola Joins Cercle Brugge on Long-Term Deal
Belgian Pro League side Cercle Brugge have signed Nigerian winger Tunde Akinsola from Portuguese club AVS Futebol SAD. The 23-year-old has agreed a contract running until June 2030, with an option for an additional year. Akinsola can operate on either wing and is expected to add pace, direct running and versatility to Cercle Brugge’s attack. He will join his new teammates after the remaining administrative procedures are completed. The former Valiant FC player previously featured for Vasalund in Sweden, Real Valladolid in Spain and AVS in Portugal. Cercle Brugge’s technical director said the winger’s ability in one-on-one situations and transition play suits the club’s attacking style.
