Madagascar Name 25-Man Squad for Super Eagles AFCON Qualifier

Madagascar coach Corentin Martins has selected a 25-man squad for the team’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Nigeria and Tanzania. The squad was cut from an initial 55-player provisional list and is dominated by foreign-based professionals, alongside a few players from the Malagasy domestic league. Madagascar will open their campaign against the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, 25 September. They will face Tanzania four days later and are expected to begin camp this weekend.
