Townsend and Siniaková Rally to Win US Open Women’s Doubles Title
Taylor Townsend and Kateřina Siniaková won the 2026 US Open women’s doubles title after recovering from a set down against American wildcards Ashlyn Krueger and Robin Montgomery at Arthur Ashe Stadium. The top seeds lost the opening set 7-5 but responded emphatically, taking the next two sets 6-0 and 6-2. Their stronger net play and a dominant second set turned the final in their favour. The victory completed a Career Grand Slam for the pair, following their previous titles at Wimbledon, the Australian Open and Roland Garros. It was Townsend’s first US Open crown and Siniaková’s 13th Grand Slam doubles title.
