Trabzonspor have reportedly reached an agreement in principle to sign Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez on loan from Al-Hilal ahead of the new season. The move could increase competition for Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu, who was one of the Turkish Süper Lig's standout scorers in the 2025/26 season. Onuachu finished with 23 league goals, sharing the Golden Boot with Eldor Shomurodov.
