Peterside Idah Claims He Should Succeed Gusau as NFF President

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Peterside Idah says he should take over as president of the Nigeria Football Federation following Ibrahim Musa Gusau’s resignation. Idah, who contested the NFF presidential election in 2022, argued that he was Gusau’s final challenger and should therefore be next in line for the role. Speaking in an interview with a sports media outlet, he described himself as the federation’s “authentic president” and called for the leadership to be handed to him.
